Thank you for your interest in applying to The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Before you start completing your application, we would be grateful if you would please read and note the following:
You must be a minimum of eighteen years of age at the start of your course.
You are unable to apply for our BA (Hons) courses, if you already hold, or will hold, a Higher Education Qualification by the start of the course.
We will only accept one application per applicant, per year.
We will not accept applications if you have previously applied in four or more consecutive years.
All application fees are paid after completion of your application. Please therefore have your debit/credit card details to hand.
All application fees are non-refundable.
We welcome applications from all sections of the community regardless of ethnicity, religion, gender, or disability. You are encouraged to disclose any impairment or condition (for example dyslexia, a physical, sensory or mental health condition) at the earliest opportunity so that we can endeavour to meet your needs at audition or interview and if successful, during your course.

If you are unsure as to whether you are eligible to apply for either the UK/EU courses or the Non UK/EU course, we recommend that you refer to the Direct Gov website or the UKCISA website.
You must upload a photograph (in JPG format) in order to complete the application.
If you have a CV (in PDF format) this can also be uploaded to support your application, but it is not mandatory.
For UK/EU Acting Courses only:
We would encourage you to apply as early as possible after applications open. By applying early, you will have more of a choice of audition dates. Late applicants may only be offered one audition date.
MA International Acting Course only:
Applications for auditions in North America, Australia and New Zealand need to be submitted by the middle of January.
Auditions for the MA in Professional Acting (International) Course will take place in New York, Toronto and San Francisco in late January/early February and in Sydney in late February/early March.
Auditions are also held in Bristol between November and April.
